JCB Expansion Tank Cap
Pressurized expansion tank cap, designed for cooling systems in JCB machinery. It is an essential safety component responsible for maintaining optimal operating pressure within the system. Thanks to the integrated safety valve, the cap prevents water pump cavitation and raises the coolant boiling point, protecting the engine from overheating. Technical Advice: **WARNING! Never unscrew the cap on a hot engine.** A sudden drop in pressure will cause the fluid to boil violently and may lead to severe burns or scalding. If you notice that the radiator hoses are unnaturally hard or soft (collapsed) after the engine has cooled down, it may indicate damage to the valves within the cap. A faulty cap is one of the most common causes of expansion tank cracking and cylinder head gasket failure.
