Description

JCB Air Intake Flange Gasket

The air intake flange gasket is a component of the air supply system in JCB machine engines. It is responsible for a hermetic connection between the manifold and the intake flange, which eliminates the risk of drawing unfiltered air directly into the combustion chamber. Technical Advice: A leak at the air intake flange is one of the most common causes of premature wear of cylinder liners and piston rings, as it allows dust particles to bypass the air filter. When installing a new gasket, thoroughly clean both mating surfaces of any old material residue. Flange bolts should be tightened evenly to avoid deforming the component and to ensure proper pressure along the entire circumference of the seal.
