Technical Advice: A "sweating" or even dripping line is not only a measurable loss of fuel, but also a huge risk of ignition in the heated engine compartment! Furthermore, even microscopic leaks in this section cause the fuel system to "draw air". This results in enormous difficulties with starting the machine after a longer standstill, uneven engine operation, and a noticeable lack of power under load. When replacing the line with a new one, remember to thoroughly bleed the system and absolutely replace the copper sealing washers under the mounting bolts (so-called banjo bolts).
