Fuel Leak Off Pipe (fits CAT) - OEM 101-3896

OEM-quality fuel leak off pipe (fuel return / overflow line) for a wide range of Caterpillar machines and engines. The leak off pipe is responsible for returning excess fuel from the injectors back to the fuel supply system - an essential component for correct injection system operation and maintaining proper fuel pressure. A leaking or damaged leak off pipe causes fuel leaks, hard starting and rough engine running. OEM quality - perfect fit and durability identical to the original factory component.

Workshop Technical Tip: The fuel leak off pipe operates at low pressure, but a leak causes serious fuel supply problems - air ingress, hard starting and rough running. When replacing, always renew the seals (sealing washers) - old, crushed washers will not seal on the new pipe. Tighten the unions to the correct torque per specification - over-tightening risks cracking the spigot or deforming the pipe. After replacement, bleed the fuel system and check all connections for leaks with the engine running.
