Fuel rail pressure control valve (DRV / PRV) by DELPHI, used in JCB machines powered by DIESELMAX and ECOMAX engines. This highly precise solenoid valve works with the engine control unit (ECU) and pressure sensor, dynamically regulating the amount of fuel returning to the tank. Thanks to this, the optimal operating pressure is constantly maintained in the Common Rail, which is essential for trouble-free starting, smooth operation, and the machine developing full power.

Technical Advice: A failure of the control valve most often manifests as difficulties starting the engine, hard operation, fluctuating idle speeds, and the machine suddenly stalling under load. This is frequently accompanied by error codes for fuel rail pressure being too low (fuel "escapes" back into the tank through the damaged valve). Before replacing the component, it is highly recommended to thoroughly check the fuel filter and assess the system for the presence of metal shavings – if shavings from a worn high-pressure pump are circulating in the system, the new valve will be destroyed in just a few hours!
