Fuel rail (Common Rail) by DELPHI, used in a wide range of JCB machines equipped with DIESELMAX and ECOMAX engines. This component acts as the main accumulator for fuel pumped under immense pressure by the injection pump. It ensures an even and stable distribution of fuel to all injectors, which is the foundation of the correct, smooth, and economical operation of a modern diesel engine.

Technical Advice: The physical body of the fuel rail rarely fails on its own. The need for its replacement most often results from contamination in the system (metal shavings from the high-pressure pump), which damages the connection threads, clogs the ports, or destroys the cooperating valves. Before unsealing the system, always wait a few minutes after turning off the engine until the operating pressure drops completely! Maintain sterile cleanliness of the entire system during installation. Also remember that, according to best mechanical practices, the high-pressure pipes connecting the rail to the injectors should be replaced with new ones to prevent dangerous fuel leaks.
