Technical Tip: Copper washers in the fuel system are single-use items. During tightening, the copper undergoes crushing and "work hardening". Reusing an old washer, even after annealing, carries a high risk of leakage. Before installing a new washer, ensure the contact surface on the injector and the overflow bolt is perfectly clean and free of burrs.
