Workshop Technical Tip: Injectors are best replaced as a complete set - running the engine with a mix of old and new injectors causes uneven cylinder loading and rough running. When replacing, always use a new copper sealing washer and clean the injector seat in the cylinder head - old washer remnants or carbon deposits prevent proper sealing and heat dissipation. Tighten the injector to the correct torque per specification - over-tightening risks deforming the tip and incorrect spray pattern. After replacement, bleed the fuel system and check the high-pressure line connections for leaks.
