Technical Advice: Turbo hose damage most commonly manifests as a sudden loss of machine power, excessive black smoke, and a characteristic hissing sound under load. During installation of a new reducer, ensure that the connectors are free of oil to prevent the hose from slipping off under pressure. Using wide T-Bolt type clamps is recommended, as they provide even pressure across the entire circumference and do not cut into the soft silicone structure.
