Workshop Technical Tip: A leak at this connector is the most common cause of sudden engine power loss, black smoke from the exhaust, and a characteristic "hissing" sound during acceleration. Before installation, thoroughly degrease the steel pipe stubs. For fastening, it is recommended to use heavy-duty T-Bolt clamps, as standard worm gear clamps may not withstand the boost pressure and could lead to the hose slipping off.
