JCB DIESELMAX Oil Cooler with Housing - ORIGINAL 320/A4173

Original, complete engine oil cooler module with housing. Designed for machines equipped with DIESELMAX engines. This component is responsible for maintaining the optimal engine oil temperature through effective heat exchange between hot oil and coolant. This prevents the oil from overheating and losing its lubricating properties during machine operation under heavy load.

Technical Features:

  • Integrated, leak-proof design: Precise housing casting and a high-quality cooling core effectively prevent engine oil from mixing with the coolant – which is the most common failure in cheap aftermarket parts.
  • High thermal efficiency: Dense finning of the cooler core guarantees maximum heat dissipation, protecting the main bearings, turbocharger, and crankshaft from seizing due to oil film breakdown.
  • Comprehensive solution: The module is factory-assembled, which significantly reduces machine downtime and minimizes the risk of assembly errors when installing just the core into an old, often deformed housing.

Technical Advice: The most common symptom of an oil cooler failure is the presence of dark "butter" (emulsion) in the coolant expansion tank (because oil pressure is higher than coolant pressure). After replacing this module with a new one, it is absolutely necessary to repeatedly flush the cooling system with specialized degreasing chemical agents, replace the coolant, and perform a preventive change of the engine oil and filter. When installing the new housing, use exclusively new, original gaskets between the engine block and the cooler.
