Workshop Technical Tip: In tandem-type pumps, it is vital to check the suction line permeability for both sections. Before installation, you must replace the hydraulic filters and the oil with fresh, contaminant-free fluid. The most critical step is priming the pump housing with clean hydraulic oil before starting the engine – running "dry" at 343 bar will destroy the piston surfaces in a fraction of a second. After installation, it is recommended to bleed the system by loosening the pressure lines at low engine speeds.
