Cylinder Seal Kit 40mm / 70mm (fits JCB) - AM 991/00095

Hydraulic cylinder repair kit by AM. This product is dedicated to the reliable regeneration of hydraulic cylinders across a very wide range of JCB machinery. The kit fits cylinders with an internal bore diameter of 70 mm operating with a 40 mm rod (typically used for bucket tilt, clam shovel opening, or stabilizer extensions). Thanks to the use of advanced polymers and reinforced sealing rings, this kit effectively withstands pressure spikes and tough working environments, restoring full system tightness and eliminating leaks.

Technical Advice: When replacing seals in 40 mm / 70 mm cylinders, ensure that the inside of the gland (cylinder head) is meticulously cleaned and degreased. Pay special attention to the smoothness of the rod surface (40 mm) – any chrome chips, deep scratches, or rust will cause rapid destruction of the new wiper seal lip. Before sliding the assembled piston into the cylinder bore, generously lubricate the new seals with clean hydraulic oil. This crucial step prevents a "dry start" and protects the O-rings from rolling and breaking during the initial movement phase.
