Technical Advice: Before replacing the seals, it is absolutely necessary to clean the valve housing from the outside to avoid introducing contaminants into the oil channels. During assembly of the spool with new seals, it is recommended to liberally moisten them with clean hydraulic oil. Remember to check the condition of the spool surface – deep scratches on the metal can damage new seals shortly after installation, which would require polishing or replacing the spool.
