Hydraulic Quick Couplers – JCB, CAT (Sockets & Plugs)

Instant attachment change without leaks. We offer hydraulic quick couplers: Flat-Face (dry break) and screw-on types, as well as protective caps from Azeri Parts and OEM.

For machines: JCB (hammer line, loader attachments), CAT, Volvo, mini excavators, and agricultural machinery.

⚠️ Which thread type? Looks aren't everything. Thread diameter (e.g., 1/2", 3/4", 1") and type (BSP, JIC) matter. Send a photo of the old coupler showing the thread – we'll match it.

Coupler Types – What to choose?

The choice depends on the application and system pressure:

  • Flat-Face (Dry Break): Standard on modern JCB and CAT machines. Easy to clean ("wipe and go"), minimal spillage when disconnecting. Ideal for frequent attachment changes.
  • Screw-on (Hammer Type): Used in very high pressure and high pulsation circuits (e.g., hydraulic hammer supply). Resistant to vibrations that could disconnect a standard coupler.
  • Poppet (ISO-A): Classic design, cheaper, found on older machines and agricultural equipment.

System Protection – Dust Caps

Sand is the biggest enemy of hydraulics. Leaving an open coupler without a cap guarantees pump or valve failure. We offer rubber and metal caps (color-coded) for sockets and plugs to protect the connection from dirt.

💡 Installing a new line?

The coupler must be securely connected to the hoses. Check our range of hoses and pipes:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I mix brands of sockets and plugs?

Yes, provided they meet the same ISO standard (e.g., ISO 16028 for Flat-Face). Azeri Parts couplers are fully compatible with Parker and OEM systems used in JCB.

Why can't I connect the coupler?

The most common cause is residual pressure trapped in the hose (e.g., from heat expansion). You need to loosen the connection at the cylinder or use a pressure eliminator coupler (available in our offer).

Trouble identifying the thread?

British (BSP) and American (JIC/ORFS) threads look similar but do not fit together. If unsure, send us a photo of the thread with a ruler.
