JCB BOOM Wear Pad Adjustment Shim 3.0mm - AZERI PARTS
A spacer (adjusting) shim for the telescopic arm (BOOM) wear pad, by AZERI PARTS. Designed for JCB telehandlers and rough terrain forklifts. It allows for the precise elimination of play between boom sections. Proper adjustment prevents jerking, load instability at maximum extension, and prevents uneven and premature wear of the sliding pads themselves.

Workshop Technical Advice: Regular inspection of the play on the boom and the appropriate addition of adjustment shims under the sliding pads significantly extends the life of the wear pads themselves and prevents damage to the steel arm profiles. During adjustment, always maintain symmetry from the top, bottom, and sides, which will prevent the sections from bending and jamming during extension. Never eliminate the play completely – a minimum tolerance clearance recommended by the machine manufacturer must remain (usually around 1-2 mm). After completing the adjustment, ensure that the arm is adequately lubricated with dedicated telescopic boom grease.
