JCB Magnetic Hub Housing Plug M22 - AZERI PARTS

Magnetic drain and inspection plug by AZERI PARTS, designed for wheel hub housings and final drives in JCB machinery. This component serves a dual purpose: it seals the service port and actively cleans the oil by capturing metal shavings generated during the natural wear of gears and bearings. The strong permanent magnet traps metallic contaminants, preventing them from circulating within the mechanism, which significantly extends the lifespan of the entire drivetrain.

Technical Advice: During every oil change in the hubs, thoroughly clean the magnetic tip of the plug from accumulated debris. The quantity and size of the shavings on the magnet are excellent indicators of the final drive's technical condition – a sudden increase in debris may signal a bearing or gear failure. When installing, it is recommended to use a new sealing washer and tighten the plug with the torque specified in the service manual to avoid damaging the 10mm hex socket.
