JCB Axle Pad Thrust Washer - ORIGINAL

Original steel spacer washer mounted in the final drive of JCB machinery axles. Its primary purpose is to reduce friction between the rotating planetary gears (satellites) and the final drive housing. Precision-crafted from specially hardened steel, it ensures smooth operation of the drivetrain and protects axle components from excessive wear.

Technical Advice: During final drive servicing, always inspect the condition of all thrust washers. Even slight wear on a washer can lead to improper meshing of the planetary gears, which quickly results in a costly failure of the entire hub. When installing a new washer, it is recommended to change the final drive oil to fresh fluid that meets JCB specifications (typically SAE 80W90 or 422).
