Workshop Technical Tip: Due to the very broad compatibility, before ordering always verify the seal dimensions (inner diameter × outer diameter × width) against your old seal or machine diagram. When fitting the new seal, always check the condition of the shaft surface where the sealing lip contacts it - a worn groove on the shaft will cause a leak even with a new seal. Lubricate the sealing lip with a thin film of clean oil before fitting and press the seal in squarely using a suitable installation sleeve - never drive it in at an angle or directly with a hammer. Pay attention to the correct fitting direction (sealing lip facing the medium being sealed).
