Genuine clutch basket housing (clutch drum) designed for JCB telescopic handlers. Part number 459/50422 is a 100% original JCB Genuine product. This housing is one of the most critical components of the transmission (Powershift/Syncro Shuttle), responsible for the smooth transfer of torque from the engine to the drivetrain. Using a genuine part guarantees a perfect fit with the friction plates and steel discs, which translates into the trouble-free operation of the machine under maximum load.

Technical Tip: Damage to the clutch basket housing (grooving) is most often associated with burnt clutch plates. When replacing the 459/50422 housing, be sure to verify the condition of the sealing rings (teflons) on the shaft and the bearings. Remember to soak new friction plates in clean transmission oil for at least 30 minutes before final assembly – this will prevent them from burning and failing during the initial transmission startup. The transmission must also be thoroughly flushed of metal shavings.
