JCB 3CX 4CX Engine Air Filter Hose

An air filter hose used in a wide range of JCB machines (including the popular 3CX and 4CX models). It is used to discharge gases from the air filter housing, ensuring proper air circulation and pressure reduction in the intake system. This ensures proper air circulation and the reduction of harmful overpressure in the intake system.

Technical Advice: Never ignore the condition of the breather hoses! Over the years, the rubber hardens, crumbles, and "sweats" oil. If the hose gets kinked, clogged with oil sludge, or collapses under vacuum, the gases will have no outlet. This will lead to a drastic increase in pressure in the crankcase, which most often ends in pushing out the seals (e.g., on the crankshaft) and serious engine oil leaks. Replace the hose at the first signs of deterioration.
