Technical Advice: Downplaying "sweating" around the dipstick tube is a big mistake, especially in agricultural machines working in huge dust! A leak in this place is an open door for fine quartz dust, which, getting straight into the oil pan, acts on the bearing shells and piston rings like an aggressive abrasive paste. Always replace the washer with a new one every time the tube is removed. Before pressing in a new seal, absolutely clean the socket in the engine block of old oil and dried dirt to avoid pushing contaminants inside.
