Workshop Technical Advice: Installing a new main pump requires absolute system sterility. Before installation, you must replace the hydraulic oil and all filters (return and suction). The most critical step is filling the pump housing with clean oil before starting the engine for the first time (through the highest case drain port). Running a piston pump "dry" for even a few seconds will cause irreversible damage to the piston surfaces and the swashplate, resulting in immediate voiding of the warranty.
