Main Hydraulic Pump (fits HYUNDAI) - OEM 31M8-10010
High-quality main hydraulic pump with part number 31M8-10010. This component is designed for HYUNDAI compact excavators. The hydraulic pump is the absolute heart of the machine, responsible for pumping high-pressure oil to all working systems, including arm and bucket cylinders, as well as travel motors. Choosing an OEM standard part guarantees the maintenance of factory flow parameters, smooth movements, and maximum digging force.
OEM Performance and Reliability: Hydraulic pumps compliant with the OEM standard are characterized by the highest precision in the manufacturing of pumping elements. This minimizes pressure losses and cavitation. The pump ensures full machine power even after the hydraulic oil is heavily heated, while offering a significantly longer service life compared to cheap, budget alternatives.

Workshop Tip: Damage to the main hydraulic pump most often manifests as an overall slowdown in machine movements, a drastic drop in power (especially after the oil heats up and thins out), and unusual noise (whining, grinding) coming from the pump compartment.
Golden rules for hydraulic pump replacement:
1. System flushing and filters: Failures of old pumps often cause metal shavings to spread throughout the entire system. Before installing a new pump, it is absolutely necessary to flush the hydraulic system, thoroughly clean the oil tank (especially the bottom), and replace all hydraulic filters. Leaving metal shavings in the system will instantly destroy the new pump.
2. Priming the pump before startup: A new pump must never run "dry". Before starting the engine for the first time, the pump housing must be filled with clean hydraulic oil (through the appropriate fill/overflow plug). Dry running, even for the first few seconds, will cause irreversible seizure.
3. Oil and suction lines verification: Replace the hydraulic oil with new oil that strictly meets the manufacturer's viscosity specifications. Ensure that the thick suction hoses between the tank and the pump are not kinked, internally delaminated, or leaking at the clamps (which could cause unmetered air suction and destructive cavitation).
