Technical Advice: The hydro-flap system operates under variable loads, which generates vibrations at the hydraulic connections. When installing the tee, ensure that the UNF threads (which seal on a cone) are perfectly clean and free of scratches on the contact surfaces. For the BSP threads, it is recommended to use new bonded seals (Dowty type washers) to ensure 100% tightness. Regular inspection of the area around the tee for seepage helps prevent sudden loss of hydraulic fluid and machine downtime.
