Workshop Tip: When installing the adapter, remember the difference in sealing methods. The BSPT (tapered) thread seals on the thread itself (use of hydraulic sealant or PTFE tape is recommended), whereas the BSP (parallel) thread requires an appropriate sealing washer (e.g., Bonded Seal / metal-rubber washer) to ensure full joint integrity under high pressure.
