Hydraulic adapter (reducer) by AZERI PARTS, designed for JCB machinery. This component serves as a connector between system elements with different thread standards, enabling a transition from a 3/8" BSP female thread to a 9/16" UNF male thread. Made of steel, subjected to a galvanic zinc plating process.

Technical Advice: When installing hydraulic adapters, pay special attention to thread cleanliness and the condition of the sealing surfaces (cones). BSP threads usually seal on the face surfaces or 60° cones, whereas UNF/JIC seals on a 37° cone. Avoid using excessive amounts of Teflon tape in high-pressure systems – its particles can block precision valves within the distributor. It is recommended to use appropriate metal-rubber washers (Bonded Seal/Dowty type) for the BSP side if the adapter does not feature an integrated sealing cone.
