JCB Hydraulic Cylinder Wiper Seal / Scraper Ring 40mm - OEM 2411/8604

The 40 mm scraper ring (wiper seal) is the first line of defense for the hydraulic system in JCB machinery. Mounted on the outer part of the cylinder gland, it plays a vital role in removing mud, dust, water, and other contaminants from the piston rod surface as it retracts into the cylinder. Thanks to OEM quality, the seal features a precision-fit wiper lip, which prevents abrasive particles from entering the system, thereby protecting pressure seals and the cylinder bore from scratching.

If you notice the wiper is perished, cracked, or does not fit tightly against the rod, replace it immediately. The cost of the seal is negligible compared to the cost of regenerating a scratched cylinder or replacing a control valve damaged by contaminants that have entered the oil.
