Workshop Tip: Before installing the new seal kit, thoroughly clean and degrease the gland and piston. Inspect the rod surface for deep scratches and dents—damaged chrome will quickly destroy the new sealing lips. It is recommended to generously moisten all sealing elements with clean hydraulic oil before seating them in the grooves, which will ease installation and protect the rubber from damage during the initial cylinder startup.
