Cylinder Seal Kit BOOM 115x80mm (fits JCB) - GMOVE LQU0164
Complete OEM quality boom cylinder seal kit by GMOVE. This repair kit is designed specifically for medium-sized tracked and wheeled JCB JS-series excavators with a 115 mm cylinder bore (piston) diameter and an 80 mm piston rod diameter. Since the main boom cylinder (BOOM) carries the greatest static and dynamic loads when raising the entire arm with a payload, utilizing GMOVE seals guarantees the restoration of full system efficiency, eliminates boom drift, and effectively prevents hydraulic oil leaks.
OEM Quality Standard: All sealing elements included in the GMOVE kit are manufactured from advanced engineering polyurethanes (PU) and selected elastomers with increased resistance to abrasion and pressure. This guarantees a perfect fit, resistance to pressure spikes in the hydraulic system, and a longer gland service life in harsh construction site conditions.

Workshop Tip: The BOOM cylinder (main boom) is a critical component for the excavator's operating safety. The most common cause of slow boom drifting (hydraulic drift) while stationary with a raised bucket is the wear of internal piston seals (115 mm) or gland leakage.
Installation Instructions:
1. Before proceeding with the replacement, thoroughly inspect the condition of the chromed piston rod surface (80 mm) along its entire length. Any rust pitting, stone chips, or deep longitudinal scratches will act like a grater on the new gland seal, instantly destroying it and causing a recurrent leak.
2. You can facilitate the installation of stiff wear rings and Teflon (PTFE) piston seals by heating them for a few minutes in a container with clean, warm hydraulic oil. Under the effect of temperature, the material will become flexible, preventing it from cracking when stretched onto the piston.
3. Remember to never assemble the cylinder "dry" under any circumstances – generously lubricate all seals with fresh hydraulic oil before final assembly.
