JCB Solenoid Valve / Front Drive Coil (4WD) 12V - AZERI PARTS 25/220992

Solenoid coil and valve by AZERI PARTS, designed for controlling the front-wheel drive (4WD) system in JCB machines. This component, upon receiving an electrical signal, opens the hydraulic valve in the gearbox to enable four-wheel drive engagement. Manufactured with high thermal resistance materials to prevent coil burnout during prolonged operation under heavy loads.

Workshop Technical Advice: If the 4WD system fails to engage, first test the coil with a multimeter – it should show constant resistance (no continuity indicates a broken winding). Before installing the new coil, ensure the Deutsch connector is clean and dry. A common cause of coil failure is contact corrosion or a short circuit in the wiring harness leading to the gearbox. Be careful not to over-tighten the coil retaining nut to avoid damaging the solenoid stem.
