Rear Excavator Hydraulic Control Valve HUSCO 3CX 4CX (fits JCB) - OEM 25/624300
OEM-quality rear excavator hydraulic control valve (HUSCO) for JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders manufactured after April 1999. This multi-section valve block is the "brain" of the excavator arm hydraulic system - precisely directing pressurised oil to the individual rams (boom lift, slew, bucket crowd, etc.). It includes an integrated solenoid valve for sideshift operation (hydraulic side-shift clamp). OEM quality - performance identical to the original HUSCO component.

Workshop Technical Tip: SAFETY WARNING: before removing the valve, fully discharge the hydraulic system pressure - lower the attachments to the ground and move the joysticks with the engine off. Pressurised oil can penetrate skin and cause serious injury. Typical valve failure symptoms: oil leaks from the body or between sections, the arm dropping on its own (internal spool leakage), no response from one or more sections (a stuck spool or failed solenoid), and failure to release the sideshift (sideshift solenoid failure). When replacing, always fit a new set of O-rings on all connections. If the old valve failed catastrophically, replace the hydraulic filters and consider changing the oil to remove contamination from the system.
