Manufactured using Continuous Cord Technology. The Y designation indicates an asymmetric steel core layout (offset) and external guiding. This design is specifically developed to prevent the track from rubbing against the machine frame in Yanmar models where the undercarriage is tucked close to the body.

The Y symbol designates an asymmetric track dedicated to Yanmar equipment. Its guide lugs are not centered but offset to the side, which is required by the undercarriage design of these machines. Most 300 mm tracks have a 52.5 mm pitch. Yanmar uses a unique 55.5 mm pitch. Installing a track with the wrong pitch will cause the sprocket teeth to misalign with the links, destroying the track in hours. What does the Y symbol mean?
