Technical Tip: A faulty tensioner (grease leak) is the most common cause of tracks coming off in the field. When installing a new tensioner, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the spring seat and checking the condition of the grease valve. Remember not to tension the track "too tight" – proper tension (according to the machine's manual) is essential to avoid premature wear of the chain and final drive bearings.
