Description

JCB DIESELMAX Fuel Injector O-ring - ORIGINAL

Original fuel injector O-ring (seal). Designed for machines equipped with DIESELMAX and ECOMAX engines. It is responsible for sealing the space between the injector body and the seat in the cylinder head. Its task is to block engine oil and contaminants from entering the injection zone, as well as to help protect against exhaust blow-by.

Technical Features:

  • Resistance to working conditions: Made of an advanced elastomer that does not harden or crack under the high temperatures in the cylinder head and contact with diesel fuel.
  • Precise dimensions: The original part fits perfectly into the injector groove. This ensures easy installation without the risk of the rubber rolling up or shearing when inserting the injector into the seat.
  • Protection against seizing: A properly working O-ring keeps out dirt and moisture, which drastically reduces the risk of the injector seizing in the cylinder head, saving time and costs during eventual disassembly.

Technical Advice: The O-ring must absolutely be replaced with a new one every time the injector is removed, just like the copper washer at its tip. Before reinstalling the injector, the seat in the cylinder head must be perfectly cleaned of accumulated carbon buildup and dirt. To facilitate installation and prevent the new O-ring from cracking or shearing, lightly lubricate the rubber with clean engine oil or a dedicated ceramic/Teflon grease before inserting the injector.
