Technical Advice: Cylinder gland leaks are often the result of oil contamination or micro-damage to the rod surface. Before installing a new seal, thoroughly inspect the 60mm rod's chrome finish for scratches, dents, or chips. If the surface is damaged, the new seal will wear out rapidly. During installation, it is recommended to use proper tools (installation sleeves) to avoid accidentally cutting the sealing lip on the sharp edges of the gland. Remember: clean oil is the foundation of hydraulic seal longevity.
