An AZERI PARTS bucket pin spacer shim is an adjustment component used in the kinematic systems of JCB machinery. It is designed to eliminate axial play on the pins connecting the bucket to the arm or quick coupler. Proper shimming of the joint prevents lateral "play" of the attachment, which reduces the risk of hole ovalization and protects seals from premature wear.

Workshop Technical Tip: Bucket pin play should be eliminated systematically as soon as lateral movement becomes noticeable. When installing shims, check the condition of the pin; any scoring or burrs on its surface can damage the new spacer. We recommend placing the shims to ensure even pressure on the dust seals. Remember to grease the joint thoroughly after shimming to facilitate the proper seating of components under load.
