JCB Brake Steel Counter Plate 3.9mm - AZERI PARTS

Wet brake steel counter plate (pressure disc) by AZERI PARTS is a brake system component installed in the drive axles of JCB machines. It works directly with friction discs, providing the necessary reaction surface to generate braking torque under the pressure of the hydraulic piston.

Material: Made of steel resistant to thermal deformation. The surface is precision-ground to ensure perfect flatness and an optimal friction coefficient.
Parameters: The nominal thickness of the element is 3.9 mm. Designed for operation in continuous oil immersion (wet brake system).

Technical Advice: During brake system service, each counter plate must be checked for warping (flatness) and overheating. The presence of so-called "hot spots" (dark, hard points on the steel surface) or purple discoloration disqualifies the plate from further use, as it causes uneven wear of new friction discs and can lead to vibrations ("judder") during braking. When assembling the entire pack, strictly maintain the plate-disc-plate sequence according to the assembly diagram of the specific axle.
