Workshop Technical Tip: Fitting a new sprocket to a badly stretched track will rapidly "undercut" the track and destroy the teeth of the new sprocket - check track wear before installation. After mounting the final drive to the frame (18 bolts), check the track tension after the first few metres of travel. Due to the weight of the assembly and the enormous forces involved, re-torque the final drive mounting bolts after 50 hours - they tend to "settle" under the weight of the machine. WARNING: this assembly weighs 410 kg - use a suitable hoist or crane for installation, never lift it by hand.
