Technical Tip: Before installing the new seal, carefully check the crankshaft surface. If the old seal has worn a deep groove into the shaft, the new seal may not ensure tightness (in this case, it is worth using a Speedi-Sleeve type repair sleeve or trying to seat the seal at a different depth if the housing allows).
