Technical Advice: Maintain absolute cleanliness when replacing injectors – even the smallest metal shaving introduced into the fuel system will destroy the new injector. The seat in the cylinder head must be precisely milled and cleaned of carbon buildup. Always use new, original copper washers and sealing O-rings. Before installation, make sure the old washer hasn't been left in the cylinder head! If you are replacing a damaged injector, consider diagnosing the others, as these components typically wear out evenly in injection systems.
