Workshop Tip: Bucket tilt cylinders operate at the very end of the loader arm, making them extremely exposed to dirt, dust, and direct damage from falling excavated material. Before replacing the seals, thoroughly clean the outside of the gland. After dismantling the cylinder, strictly verify that the chrome plating of the piston rod (70 mm diameter) has no impacts or scratches, and the internal cylinder bore (120 mm) is free from pitting. Even the best seal will not stop a leak if the metal surfaces are damaged. Before installation, it is worth gently warming up hard seals in clean, warm hydraulic oil to minimize the risk of cracking.
