Workshop Tip: Rebuilding a bucket cylinder is a process that requires sterile cleanliness. This cylinder operates in the harshest conditions, right next to the excavated material. Before disassembling the gland, thoroughly clean the outside of the cylinder. After dismantling the cylinder, strictly verify the condition of the piston rod's chrome plating and the cylinder's internal bore. Any deep scratches, corrosion pitting, or impact damage will cause immediate damage to the new seal kit. During assembly, use specialized tools (guide sleeves) to avoid shearing the lips of the new seals on the threads, and lubricate the seals themselves generously with clean hydraulic oil.
