High-quality spring retaining ring (Snap ring / Circlip) designed for securing planet gears in final drives and drive axles of JCB machinery. Made of spring steel, it ensures durable and secure positioning of rotating components, eliminating axial play within the differential mechanism.

Workshop Tip: Retaining rings (circlips) are single-use components – after removal, they often lose their original tension. Always install a new ring during final drive service. Ensure that the circlip has fully seated into the shaft groove; improper installation risks the pin sliding out, which can lead to the destruction of the planetary gear set.
