Uneven wear between old and new teeth can lead to vibrations and accelerated damage to the ring gear. The presence of an integrated roller bearing requires special attention during installation – ensure that the satellite pin (shaft) is free of ridges or damage that could lead to premature bearing seizure. During any final drive maintenance, always replace the gear oil with fresh lubricant.
