Before ordering, confirm the yoke and idler wheel version fitted to your machine — a short yoke version (part no. JRA0213) also exists for machines with a long-guide idler wheel.
Workshop Technical Tip: The track adjuster directly affects the safety and service life of the entire undercarriage. A track that is too loose will de-rail during sharp turns or in mud — one that is over-tensioned will rapidly wear rollers, sprockets and track link bushings. Check track sag regularly to the service manual specification: the correct amount of sag in the lower run must be maintained within the stated tolerance. Exercise extreme caution when replacing the recoil assembly — the recoil spring operates under enormous pre-load. Always follow the correct service procedure and use a hydraulic press for disassembly. Never release track tension by loosening the Schrader valve without first de-loading the spring — this can cause a serious accident.
