Workshop Tip: Before installing the new seal kit, carefully inspect the piston rod surface for scratches, nicks, or pitting. Even the slightest mechanical damage to the rod will lead to rapid destruction of the new seals. During installation, it is recommended to moisten the seals with clean hydraulic oil; this will facilitate their seating in the gland and prevent accidental folding of the sealing lip.
