Workshop Technical Advice: Before assembling the spring bushing, carefully clean the seat in the cylinder eye. Due to its expansive nature, you must absolutely use a suitable guide pin or a press to seat the bushing – direct hammering can deform the edges. Very important: the gap (slit) of the spring bushing must always be positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of the greatest working pressure to prevent its crushing and premature wear. After installation, make sure that the lubrication channels align with any holes in the bushing (or that grease has free access) and generously lubricate the connection.
