The assembly consists of an axial piston hydraulic motor integrated with a multi-stage planetary reduction gearbox. It provides precise superstructure control, ensuring smooth swing movements while maintaining the high torque required for working in demanding terrain. Equipped with an integrated hydraulic parking brake. OEM quality - perfect fit and performance identical to the original factory component.

Workshop Technical Tip: Before installing the complete swing drive, check the condition of the slewing ring and the cleanliness of the mounting seat - worn ring gear teeth will rapidly destroy the new pinion. After fitting the unit, you must pre-fill the hydraulic motor housing with clean hydraulic oil and fill the reduction gearbox with the correct gear oil (to JCB specification, typically 80W90). Failure to pre-fill the motor before the first start can cause immediate seizure. Also check that the drain (leak-off) line is clear - a blocked drain port causes pressure build-up in the housing and destroys the shaft seal.
