Workshop Technical Tip: When installing the reduction gearbox, it is crucial to check the condition of the hydraulic motor drive shaft and its seal. A leaking hydraulic motor can lead to hydraulic oil entering the gearbox, which dilutes the gear oil and causes rapid wear of the planetary gears. After installation, fill the gearbox with fresh oil of the viscosity recommended by the manufacturer (usually SAE 80W90 or 85W140) and check the level after the first few rotations of the machine.
